For long-term operation and corrosion protection

Chrome plating can be done in several different ways and on different details. Here we take a closer look at what you can do:

• Chrome plating of new parts / Parts that have been manufactured and then given a chrome layer where needed. Is usually more cost-effective than buying pre-chromed material and then manufacturing from it.
• Renovation of existing chrome layers/ The heart of production. Being able to save details quickly and cheaply. The steps are: De-chroming, repair of damage, grinding/polishing, new chrome layer where we can control the thickness and add up to previous dimensions and finally post-polishing.
• Only chrome plating / Some details we only add a chrome layer to get nut protection, better release surface or heat resistance. Does not require pre-processing or post-polishing. Can be anything from plates to asymmetrical geometry.
• Internal chroming/. We can chrome everything from small holes to large, long pipes, cylinder pipes that are oversized and wear surfaces internally. Internal bending requires a high level of inventiveness and broad knowledge. We also have the possibility of hanging.
• Double Chromium/Triple Chromium (Offshore)/ This is a way to increase the corrosion resistance to the best. With double alt. Triple chrome layers we can increase the corrosion protection to over 200H+ NSS.
• Wear-resistant chrome layer / To get all the good properties of hard chrome, we lay at least 25µm (0.025mm) thick. But to increase the abrasion resistance, i.e. more material to wear, we can lay significantly thicker. From 80µm (0.08mm) up to 800µm (0.8mm)
• Chrome plating of molds and plates/ We have fixtures for chrome plating of flat parts up to 1500x1500x100mm.
